A local real estate identity has opened a Harcourts office in Runaway Bay after experiencing incredible industry success in the local area.
Steve Gunes entered the real estate industry on the Gold Coast two years ago, after extensive experience owning and managing small businesses in Wollongong. After only 12 months with Ray White Runaway Bay, Mr Gunes achieved Rookie of the Year for the office (an award for Sales Consultants new to the industry), and was placed in the office’s Top 3 Sales Consultants. Having been “head hunted” by LJ Hooker in Runaway Bay, Mr Gunes was the number 1 selling agent within 6 months, and also achieved the highest sale price for the office since it was established 10 years ago.
It was Harcourts’ excellent local reputation and high profile, together with its world class systems, tools and infrastructure that attracted Mr Gunes to the brand in the first place.
“I was very impressed with Harcourts’ work ethics and family culture. It’s a young brand with fresh, innovative ideas, and I am keen to offer my team of currently nine, access to world class industry training,” Mr Gunes said.
With property ranging from executive 3 million dollar waterfront property to townhouses in the vicinity of $300,000, Runaway Bay was an area growing in popularity, only five minutes from prestigious Sovereign Island, according to Mr Gunes.
Mr Gunes plans to train a team of top performing agents, and establish his office as No 1 in the area, and then, in due course, open another four offices in the surrounding areas.
CEO of Harcourts Queensland, Aaron Brooks, said, “Steve certainly has the natural ability for success in this industry, considering his outstanding results in such a short time. Residents of Runaway Bay can expect to receive professional, outstanding service from Steve and his new team.”
