New Harcourts Academy Trainer Joins Tasmanian State Team
Fri, 03 Aug 2007

Candice Gillies has been appointed to the growing team at Harcourts Tasmania as their first full time State Trainer within Harcourts’ unique training division, The Harcourts Academy.

Ms Gillies, an experienced advertising and marketing professional, was introduced to the real estate industry just over five years ago, when she developed a television marketing campaign for Harcourts Launceston which was subsequently judged “Best Advertising Campaign” by the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania.  In 2003, Ms Gillies was the brainchild and co-director of the hugely successful House of Dreams charity project which focused on buying a run down property, completing a full renovation and then selling the property fully furnished.

Ms Gillies joined the sales team at Harcourts Launceston in 2005, and was recently offered the position of State Trainer for The Harcourts Academy which involves assisting new sales consultants establish their career, as well as up-skilling existing consultants so that they can improve their business.

Head of the Harcourts Academy, Irene Green, was delighted at Ms Gillies joining The Academy team.  “Candice Gillies has shown exceptional interest and enthusiasm for the real estate industry.  Her ability to form relationships with clients and colleagues, together with her patience and intelligence made her the perfect candidate.”

CEO of Harcourts Tasmania, Tony Morrison, said, “We are very fortunate to have someone of Candice Gillies’ calibre join our corporate team and have no doubt that she will further enhance our reputation as having the best trained, most ethical and professional real estate consultants in the state.”
